Retail Group GCC needed a comprehensive digital transformation, including a responsive e-commerce website and native mobile applications for iOS and Android. The existing system was outdated, slow, and didn't support modern payment methods popular in the GCC. They required a solution that could handle high traffic during peak shopping seasons, support multiple languages (Arabic and English), and integrate with their existing inventory and payment systems.
We built a modern, scalable e-commerce platform using React for the frontend and Node.js for the backend, with a PostgreSQL database. The website features full RTL support, multi-language capabilities, and is optimized for mobile-first experiences. The native mobile apps were developed using React Native, ensuring code reusability while maintaining platform-specific optimizations. We integrated payment gateways including Stripe, PayPal, and local GCC payment methods. The system handles thousands of concurrent users during peak shopping seasons with sub-2-second load times. A comprehensive admin dashboard provides real-time analytics, inventory management, and order tracking capabilities.
